What can I say about Michele Bachmann (R-Minn) that hasn't already been said over and over. The statements that this wing-nut nut job have made over and over, are all over the board from bizarre conspiracy theories to just plain uninformed, uneducated nonsense.
There is however, one angle that has not been addressed. This wacko wing nut has given us enough material to make a great TV sitcom. That's right, a sitcom based on Michele Bachmann would be funnier than "Seinfeld", "Soap" or "All In The Family" combined. Maybe someone should pass this on to NBC, I understand they have a 10:00 PM slot available, but just remember you heard it here first. Call me I have some ideas.
Lets look at the facts. A recent poll in Minnesota indicated that 56% of respondents thought Michelle Bachmann was an embarrassment to the State of Minnesota. Kind of reminds you of a female version of Archie Bunker right?
Michele Bachmann's well known conspiracy theory rants would have been very recognizable in an episode of the late 1970's sitcom "Soap".
Of course, any one of her bizarre rants would have made a great episode of the Jerry Seinfield show.
The Michele Bachmann show would have other great attributes as well. It is well known that Michele Bachmann has a revolving door of senior members leaving from her staff. This would be a great opportunity to introduce regular guest stars on the show who would stay for just a few episodes.
We all know there are always wing nuts elected to politics. I don't know which is scarier, a wing nut like Michele Bachmann being elected or the majority of wing nuts who actually voted for her (more then once). This would be another opportunity to introduce more charters to the show just to keep it interesting. Can you imagine a conversation between Michele Bachmann and one or more of her wing nut supporters? Seriously think about it.
I'm telling you this is award winning material that you just can't make up. You wouldn't even need teams of writers as Michele Bachmann just keeps adding to the already growing repertoire of material that's already in the public record.
If you want to have fun sometime just do a search on Google with the search terms: "Michele Bachmann+Quotes" Just see for your self what comes up it's really quite entertaining in that sort of horrible accident kind of way. I mean you don't want to look but you cant stop yourself either. I often find myself reading with a combination of fear, dread and amusement.
So if anyone's interested in pursuing this project call me as I have lots more ideas. At least give me credit for the concept OK?
If anyone has a favorite Michele Bachman quote or more ideas or story lines for the Michele Bachmann sitcom then feel free to comment, and I will post it for all to see.

Tom
For your reading pleasure I have included a selection of Michele Bachmann rants below.
"What I would say is that the news media should do a penetrating expose and take a look. I wish they would. I wish the American media would take a great look at the views of the people in Congress and find out if they are pro-America or anti-America,"
"I believe that there is a very strong chance that we will see that young people will be put into mandatory service. And the real concerns is that there are provisions for what I would call re-education camps for young people, where young people have to go and get trained in a philosophy that the government puts forward and then they have to go to work in some of these politically correct forums."
"I find it interesting that it was back in the 1970s that the swine flu broke out then under another Democrat president Jimmy Carter. And I'm not blaming this on President Obama, I just think it's an interesting coincidence."
"Will you let Barack Obama KILL conservatism?" Calling the president a "political street fighter," she says his "agenda is a dagger pointed right at the heart of conservatism."
"Obama wants to use ACORN to radicalize America because he isn't interested merely in defeating conservatives... ...HE WANTS TO ANNIHILATE US! That's the purpose behind ObamaCare, too."
"Take this into consideration. If we look at American history, between 1942 and 1947, the data that was collected by the Census Bureau was handed over to the FBI and other organizations at the request of President Roosevelt, and that's how the Japanese were rounded up and put into the internment camps," "I'm not saying that that's what the Administration is planning to do, but I am saying that private personal information that was given to the Census Bureau in the 1940s was used against Americans to round them up, in a violation of their constitutional rights, and put the Japanese in internment camps."

I'm thinking that John Noble who plays Dr. Walter Bishop on "Fringe" would make a great "Chief of Staff" on this fictional TV sitcom based upon Michele Bachmann (R-Minn). Although John would be have to cast as the same type of insane character that he plays on Fringe. Just replace science with politics and there you go. What do you think?
